sorry if i sound skeptic... NBA now just happens to seem like one man teams i.e Lebron James, Kobe Bryan.... The other time when Kobe was injured, Lakers were struggling. Same for Cleveland when Lebron didn't perform well, the entire team fell apart.
Go Lakers!
Actually there are certain exceptions. Cleveland is one team where they relies too heavily on LeBron James. Kobe will never even win championships if he does not have the likes of Gasol, Bynum, Fisher and Odom. Then again, LeBron and Kobe are the extreme ends of superstars. What would be Bulls without Jordan? On the other hand, what would Jordan be without Pippen, Rodman, Kukoc and Kerr?
Then there are also more balanced teams like Boston Celtics and also Phoenix Suns where generally the points are spread out pretty evenly amongst the big3 or big4. Watching Rondo play in Celtics is simply sensational!
which is why i support the celtics this time round.. lakers are too proud and reliant on kobe for their own good... :)
