Hi, all.

Just making a survey on the market situation. Err...market as in manufacturing, IT, finance, chemical etc, not the pork, fish, chicken type.

Now I think manufacturing is hot. Almost all manufacturers are running full capacities, running on weekends, and are shortage of materials. My guess is that it will remain like this up to Jun or beyond.

How about other sectors?

I heard from ex-colleague that electronic sector is doing quite badly. Many shifted their plants to other countries like China, Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam etc, esp China...

Pharma is still good, tat's why many big players are coming to S'pore and even setup manufacturing plants or research centers here.

Eh good or bad.. many of them will move to China anyway to save $$$.

Well, but then there are also a lot of transfer from USA/Europe to Singapore/Malaysia etc.
It is not the company doing badly, but there is a lot of transfer and a lot of production now. Unless the company has no China operation and loses to competitor...
