Okay, I need you guys feedback on this.
I'm really interested to get this game and play with you guys (I played WAR a little with some of you guys and it was great) but I don't really know if this game is any good.
My main concern is the queue time, is there one? because I don't want to be waiting 5 hours in queue to log in just to be disconnected after successfully entering and playing for an hour.
2nd one is whether the standard edition box comes with a CD ? I read online that all they give you is a code so you can download the 9 gig file online, is that true and does the game take very long to download if so.

I never once encountered a Queue so far.
If anything, Eylos are the underdog in population so its not likely you will get one.
As for DVD... can't be sure as I bought online version from NCsoft but I believe the box will come with a dvd if you bought retail.

it takes around 2hrs if you have the retail box w/c include 2dvd and activation code the patches makes it longer to download make sure youve install .net workframe 3.5 if your running in vista i've encountered a prob. and it fix it hope this helps ^_^
Okay guys, I've bought the game but now I have more questions.
So the shopkeeper decided to throw in a Pre-Order Box to give me the pre order box so I can get some extra goodies.
I sign up for an account... use the pre-order code to activate my account after that I decide to use the Activation code found in the Retail Box after that I got send to the payment method page.
I cancel out page because I have no time card and check my account details. The account code isn't the activation code one but the pre-order code.
Anyone knows what to do?
will need a debit or credit card.. They won't charge u until end of month.. So u can stop the sub b4 they even charge u..
with regards to queue time.. i encountered one last night but it was real quick, like only 3 mins

The longest time I've seen is 6 mins.
Anyone know if its true that you don't have to re-queue if you crash/DC?
no idea jittah. Seems like the queue time on our server's pretty good. If u go to aionsource, there're many people QQing abt super long queue times on other servers. Looks like those numerous afk shops are taking a lot of count in the in game population... zzz

They need an idle logout mechanism like in WAR.
they do... but it's only when u don't open a private shop and afk. So in other words, if you open a private shop and afk, you won't be auto logged out

in fact when i was trying to connect ard 8pm, i was put on que for ~5min before i logged on.
my que no. was 100/100 but was logged on quite fast..
seems that the no. of channel was reduced to 5.
