Circle of Kakis

Greetings!

As many of you may have noticed in the Game Update 1.2 Patch notes, we have given players the ability to exchange their current level of Scavenging for an equal level of Butchering. This was implemented due to the changes to the Apothecary trade skill.

In order to perform this switch you will need to visit either Lorne Foulsteel in The Inevitable City (Destruction) or Elsbeth Reiss in Altdorf (Order) They will then give you a quest to complete, "Welcome to the Meat Market", which will correctly train you in the Butchering trade skill if you had the Scavenging trade skill.

only can switch Scavanging to Butchering??? cannot switch to others?

I guess reason is scavenging is equivalent to butchering. In terms of lvling.. u jus need to loot the corpse or carcass. nothing hard abt it while magical salvage or cultivation needs some extra hardwork.

Yeah, unless you are planning to switch from Apo skill to Tailsman skill. I need to find out which "animal" mob drop what ingredients before I can start making potion again. :sleep:

Lol, all along I make pot one and have been passing pots to guild mate until I run out of stabilizer. (Before patch 1.2, it is really hard to farm those stabilizer) :)

Just that now I have to hunt for those animals for ingredients and I have yet to find out which animals drop what ingredients.

No need to switch. One good thing about scavenging is that there's a chance to get purple fragments from scavenging mobs. I managed to get a purple level 150 fragment from scavenging a mob in BE. The purple 125 fragment is good enough to make +19 stat items [if you have good enough curio, essence and gold dust]
