Cheap-ish.
Almost all are $3. Not expensive. During schooldays in the afternoons sure find alot of students there.
Sometimes if you add extra side orders can go up to $4, but the extra gives ALOT of extras.

I can't wait to try it!
I think the cheapest chicken rice I've ever seen personally (decent portion!) is S$1.20... at Geylang East.

Then became $2.50 (about 2000)
Then about 1 year ago went up to $3.00

By the way, my favourite set is:
Chicken Cutlet Rice
- 1 pc super yummy CRIP-SEY chicken cutlet
- 1 bowl serving of flavoured rice
- 1 small scoop of coleslaw
Can exchange the Rice for some french fries.
Sometimes (only sometimes) you can exchange the coleslaw for baked beans.
You can also change the rice to fried rice just for a little bit more as well.
My suggestion is buy 1 plate and eat there first.
Then after that buy back for family :)

Hell yeahhh, the Chicken cutlet rice in Coronation Plaza is one of the best I've tasted. And its available at a price of $3 I think.
Its on the 3rd floor of coronation plaza. I will definitely go there whenever I'm patronizing my friend's shop which is on the 2nd floor "G2 Shop"
Anyway, my mouth chew the chicken there chew till sore. Rice finished liao still so much chicken.

So....a weekday dinner at Coronation next week?
04-06-2004, 01:17 AM
I went to try the chicken cutlet today.
Had to call Winnoe cos there were a few eating stalls there and I didn't know which one it was. I hope I ate at the right place, heh. :P
I tried the chicken cutlet set (with the western food complements instead of rice). Not bad lah. Cheap and good. That place also has many other types of food like nasi lemak and mee goreng, which look popular too.
I think I will be paying that place more visits!

and buy a meal to eat there, and buy 2 other kinds for dinner and tomorrow's lunch :PThe sweet & sour battered fish is quite nice. Although you must make sure to ask them to pack the sauce separately from the fish, otherwise next day when you eat it, soggy fish.
All in all, I can buy a meal, a drink, dinner for that night, and tomorrow's lunch all for $10
